Reviews Policy
Last updated: October 2026
How reviews are collected, shown and, in rare cases, removed.
1. How reviews are collected
Reviews can only be left through a private, single-use link that a therapist sends to her own client after a session. Each link works once. This is intended to make sure that reviews come from real clients, but we do not verify that a session took place and cannot guarantee that any review is genuine, accurate or representative.
2. What a review contains
Each review contains scores from 1 to 5 for four categories (Presentable, Bedside Manner, Massage and Overall), an optional short written comment, the reviewer's first name and the month it was left. The rating shown at the top of a page and in the reviews section is the average of the Overall scores. Reviews appear from the first review; there is no minimum number.
3. Standards for reviews
Reviews must be honest, based on your own experience, and comply with the Acceptable Use Policy. They must not contain personal information about anyone, including addresses or phone numbers; must not contain sexual, hateful, defamatory or threatening content; and must not be offered, written or changed in exchange for payment, discounts or any other benefit.
4. Therapists cannot edit or delete reviews
Therapists cannot edit, hide or delete reviews. A therapist may report a review she believes breaches this policy. Reported reviews are considered by the owners and shareholders, who decide in their sole discretion whether a review stays or is removed. Disagreeing with a review, or a low score, is not on its own a reason for removal.
5. Responsibility for reviews
Reviews are the opinions of the people who write them and not of the owners and shareholders. We do not endorse any review and are not liable for its content, to the extent permitted by law. By leaving a review you grant us the licence described in the Terms of Use to publish it.
Governing law and jurisdiction
This document, and any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with it or its subject matter, is governed by and must be interpreted in accordance with the laws of the Republic of South Africa. You agree that the courts of the Republic of South Africa have jurisdiction to hear and determine any such dispute, without prejudice to any right of the owners and shareholders to seek interim or urgent relief in any competent court.
Nothing in this document limits any right you may have under the Consumer Protection Act 68 of 2008, the Electronic Communications and Transactions Act 25 of 2002, or the Protection of Personal Information Act 4 of 2013, to the extent that those Acts apply and cannot lawfully be limited.
Changes to this document
We may update this document from time to time to reflect changes in the platform, in the law, or in how we operate. The updated version takes effect when it is published on this page, and the date at the top will change. Where a change materially affects therapists with an active subscription, we will make reasonable efforts to tell them in advance through the contact details we hold. Your continued use of the platform after a change takes effect means you accept the updated document.
Severability, waiver and entire agreement
If any provision of this document is found to be invalid, unlawful or unenforceable, that provision will be severed and the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect. Any failure or delay by us in enforcing a right does not amount to a waiver of that right. This document, together with the other policies linked in the footer of every page, constitutes the entire agreement between you and us on its subject matter.
